Saturday, September 4: Shortened hours – Noon-5pm

Monday, September 6: LABOR DAY – CLOSED

First Friday ART WALK – September 3, 2010: Comic Zone has a presence at the First Friday ART WALK on 5th St, just south of Roosevelt in downtown Phoenix.

Uncanny X-Force Day – October 6, 2010: Comic Zone is helping to celebrate the re-launching of Marvel’s most dangerous Mutant strike team, X-Force! Local comic artist Jolene House (Dusk) will be here for sketch variant covers, as will our own “Psycho” Andy Costello (Hawk & Croc, Hawk & Kid). More artists to be announced!

Talking Zone Discussion Group – Every Wednesday from 3-5 pm. Hang out with Andy and other comics fans to discuss what you’re reading, what you’re enjoying, and what could maybe use some improvement in comics. It’s like Internet forums, but with fewer morons!

Picture This! Drawing Group – Saturday, September 18 @ 11 am.  Join Andy as he reveals some great drawing techniques. All levels of artists are welcome.

Writing Right Writers Group – Saturday, September 25 @ 11am. Join Linda on the 4th Saturday of each month to practice various writing techniques; learn how to write better, and experience other local writers’ creations!
